There’s a lot of information here! There’s such an overlap between some of the core executive function challenges the autism spectrum presents and “plain” attention deficit disorder. I’m bookmarking this article so that I can refer to it in the future! I’m a therapist working with both autism and attention deficit disorder, and I’m always looking for new and better information 🙂

that’s a great little compilation . i take away some of it for my own perception and understanding of my son’s asperger’s. his diagnosis includes “elements of adhd and odd” which, as a layman obviously but after reading some information, i actually dispute for my child. i did not know Russel Barkley and understand he specialises more in ADHD but the way he brings his point accross is very accessible and makes sense to me…

Thanks for putting me onto Dr Barkley. I’ve downloaded some more of his vids from YouTube and it helps to have a real pro’s opinion on such a what appears to be an ambiguous subject amongst other like minded professionals. I found things about myself which I knew but had only suspected. So cheers for this post it has really helped me. 🙂
